When you’re feeling unwell, remember that the same power that actually made your body knows how to restore it to its original state of well-being. All you have to do is remove the obstacles erected by you and your toxic world, and allow this healing power to flow through you.

WHAT IS SOUND THERAPY

Sound therapy is energy work — everything is energy and everything is vibrating at different frequencies. When there are blocks or stagnation in the body and mind, there is dissonance and a lack of consistency. Sound therapy helps to attune our bodies and our mind to a more optimal frequency.

If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.

What to expect

Sound therapy often integrates many instruments including Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, tongue drums, buffalo drums, tuning forks, weighted and non, bells, chimes, shakers and voice and into a personalized unique session for each person.

There are many ways that sound healers facilitate sessions, but generally speaking, there is probably a discussion of what the client needs support with first, Then, the client lays down and relaxes as the practitioner incorporates meditation, breathing and sound to help move the energy towards balance.

Who Is Sound Therapy Right For?

Sound therapy works for everyone, “On a physical level, we are slowing down the breath, slowing down our heart rate and allowing our mind to quiet into a safe-feeling, serene state.

As to spiritually, the more relaxed we are in body and mind, the better or more able we are to feel connected to ourselves, connected to others and connected to a higher power if we so choose.”

Sound therapy is effective in not only achieving a state of relaxation but it also has a way of moving through blockages in the body. There are many published articles and research showing sound to help treat such conditions as stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, depression, sleep disorders, pain and autism.

Is Sound Therapy safe for everyone?

Sound therapy is very effective for nearly everyone. Those who may not receive therapeutic effects are people who suffer from ear sensitivity issues, sound induced epilepsy and some of the wise elders, who have developed fluid in their ears with age.

What can sound therapy do for me?

Sound therapy is an amazing way to release stress, make meditation easier and leads to emotional well-being, alleviation of tension, aches and pains, reduced stress and many other health benefits.

Sound Therapy is also a wonderful way to bring groups together, and enhance health and wellness practices by deepening their restorative effects.

Testimonials

Great review for Mary!
’Service Received: Sound Therapy 60 min:
Very peaceful and healing emotionally. Mary is very in tune with what you need in the moment.”
— SC

I did tuning fork therapy and it was relaxing. I was energized after one session. I moved onto sound bowl therapy with my third visit it was like everything started to fall into place. I had a major emotional release during the session. I have never felt anything like that. This last session I had it was such a euphoric feeling. As Mary was releasing energies I started to have involuntary movements and when I was done I had a clear head and set my intentions for the week. A general well being of feeling balanced, encouraged, and positive. Mary is such an amazing soul.

I highly recommend Mary because she encompasses all of the excellent qualities of a superb sound healer. A session with her is like being enveloped in a cocoon of butterfly kisses. Each sound wave strums the heart and awakens a healing experience. The intuitive, individual session is a delight with so many layers of healing that last long after the session. You will keep coming back to unravel and embrace each intricate weave of Mary’s sound web. More than one session will be craved to keep exploring different waves of ease, tension easing away in the wave of sound. This is part of my self-care and I hope you incorporate it into your self-care as well. Kudos to Mary for finding her gifts in sound and sharing them with each of us!
